A distressingly high number of soldiers (over 300,000) are returning from
serving in Iraq and Afghanistan suffering from major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), also known as post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSS). Additionally, approximately 320,000 troops have suffered traumatic
brain injury (TBI). Major depression is often not considered a combat-related injury; however, a recent RAND study
suggests that it is highly associated with combat exposure and should be considered as being among the spectrum of post-deployment
mental health consequences.*
It is our wish
to give back in some way to our warriors that have given of themselves in service to their country and have suffered psychologically
and physically as a result. Our way of "giving back" is through energy therapies, aiding in the healing of
soldiers and veterans that have been injured (TBI) and suffer stress-related illnesses (PTSD and PTSS).
We are including the families and loved ones of our warriors, as they too are
a major part of the equation and have suffered unbearably in their own right. We extend our offer of love and healing
to them as well.
The practice of energy
therapies are becoming more widely known among the mainstream as effective methods of healing and by many are no longer viewed
as woo-woo airy fairy "out there" practices. In fact, the government is now funding studies to find alternative
methods of healing, which includes energy therapies, for soldiers and veterans afflicted with the TBI, PTSD, PTSS and depression.
Reiki and other alternative therapies are now being suggested by the military in training sessions on PTSD.
One need only
look at the practice of martial arts to see that there's one basic key component between the practices of martial arts
and energy therapies - "energy" ("chi" or "ki"). Martial arts centers around energy and
the flow of energy. Energy therapies is the flow of energy to the recipient and through the recipient's energy centers
and energy pathways (meridians), healing blocked energy and also jump starting the recipient's body's own healing
capabilities. Reiki, Luminclear and other energy healing has been proven to be highly effective in reducing stress, clearing the body of energy blockages
and accelerating the healing process.
We provide energy healing services to soldiers and veterans, active and inactive, for
PTSD, PTSS, TBI, anxiety and depression, and/or physical injuries and to their families and loved ones who experience PTSD
(both of their loved one and of their own), depression, anxiety, ad infinitum through distance healing. Distance healing is energy healing work done when both parties are in
different locations. They can be 20,000 miles apart or in adjacent rooms. The energy that is sent goes to the
emotional, physical, mental and spiritual bodies of the recipient with the intent that it help to make him or her whole again.
All that is required of the recipient is to be open to the energy. Distance healing is just as effective, and sometimes
more so, as an in-person treatment.
Energy healing
should be used in conjunction with, not instead of, traditional treatment, such as psychotherapy and medical treatment.
